109. Territory
Teaser: In which Terry questions the Thief about the mechanics of monster territory, but only raises more questions.
RANGER'S HOUSE EXTERIOR Terry, Thief
[FRAME 1]
Terry: What were you saying earlier, about tougher monsters on the other side of bridges?
Thief: Not just bridges. Caves, mountains, cross any physical barrier and there's a good chance the monsters will be tougher.
[FRAME 2]
Terry: Why?
Thief: I dunno, I guess monsters are territorial. Strong monsters must attack weaker ones.
[FRAME 3]
Terry: Have you ever seen monsters fight each other? Like for territory?
Thief: No, can't say I have.
[FRAME 4]
Thief: Now that you mention it, all different kinds of monsters seem to get along just fine when they're attacking US.
Terry: Rude.
