Cheryl: Where'd you go? I thought you said you were gonna stay right here till the Hero comes back.
Thief: I did say that, and I meant it. I don't know what happened.
[FRAME 2]
Terry: One second we were here, the next we were back in the boarding house.
Cheryl: Like with the amulet?
[FRAME 3]
Terry: Yes, except there's no amulet. And it's morning again.
Thief: And not just another morning, it's the SAME morning. Everyone's back where they were yesterday. Last today? Whatever.
[FRAME 4]
Captain: Maybe it's the Arch Fiend?
Cheryl: I mean, he probably could, but what's the point of making everybody live through the same day again? It's a lot of effort for a mild annoyance.
