RANGER AND TERRY WALKING UP STAIRS
Ranger: Look, I know everybody's a little weird in this town, but building an arena to force monsters to fight each other isn't something you should say out loud.
Karen: What's the problem? They're only monsters.
Terry: Evan can talk!

MARKET INTERIOR Terry, Ranger, Karen
Karen: I'll make you an equal partner, fifty-fifty. That's my final offer.
Ranger: I'm not helping you start an animal fighting ring! THAT'S final.
[FRAME 3]
Ranger: I don't even need more money, there isn't anything to spend what I already have on.
Ranger: All you sell is stuff for adventuring, but I can't leave the town. You don't have anything useful, like food, or a shovel, or a bed for my house.
[FRAME 4]
Karen: It's just business, I stock what sells.
Ranger: Food would sell! There's a dozen starving people in this town!
Karen: It's a low-margin product, I'm cultivating a more exclusive customer base.
Ranger: You're cultivating ONE GUY!
