Teaser: In which the Captain and the Ranger ask whether the gods could be responsible for Evan levelling up, and get answer they didn't want.
CHURCH INTERIOR Priest, Captain, Ranger
[FRAME 1]
Priest: Ah, you're back! Have you reconsidered?
Captain: Actually, we had some questions about something else entirely.
[FRAME 2]
Captain: After the whole town shook, which might be connected to a dragon dying, Evan changed colour and says he got stronger.
Priest: Who is Evan?
Ranger: A giant bat.
[FRAME 3]
Priest: So, a monster? And you're wondering if the gods are responsible for this change?
Captain: Uh, not specifically. We're trying not to prejudice the investigation with theories.
[FRAME 4]
Priest: Well, obviously our gods wouldn't help a monster, but it's certainly possible the Monster Gods could be responsible.
Captain: Monsters have gods?!
Ranger: Why do we keep asking questions? Learning things has never made anything better.
