338. Questioning

Teaser: In which the Captain suggests bringing Terry in for questioning, which the Ranger points out won't be effective even if it's a euphemism.

CHURCH INTERIOR Priest, Captain, Ranger

[FRAME 1]

Captain: Alright, Terry is our suspect, now we just have to take him to the dungeon and get him to confess.

Ranger: That won't work.

[FRAME 2]

Captain: I can assure you it does. Everyone I've ever arrested confessed eventually, no matter how completely they'd destroyed the evidence.

Ranger: That may be, but those were all humans.

[FRAME 3]

Ranger: The creature we call Terry is a monster, probably something powerful like a dragon or a chimera. It's maintained the disguise flawlessly for weeks if not years.

Ranger: You're not gonna make it confess with a couple hours of questioning.

[FRAME 4]

Captain: I'm talking about torture, sorry if that wasn't clear.

Ranger: It's invincible! Your torture tools will bounce off it, just like my arrow! But they won't bounce off you, if it gets mad at you for trying.
