Teaser: In which the Captain and the Ranger attempt to leave town to fight monsters, but are rebuffed.
TOWN GATE EXTERIOR Captain, Ranger, Guard

Captain: Let us through, we're going out to kill monsters!
Guard: Sorry Cap'n, gate's closed. King's orders, nobody's allowed out 'cept the Hero. On account o' the monsters.
[FRAME 2]
Captain: Yes I know, I gave you those orders. And now I need to go out, because that's where the monsters are.
Guard: But it weren't your order, beggin' your pardon sir, so's you can't un-order it like.
[FRAME 3]
Ranger: Can we get an order from the King?
Captain: Sure, just as soon as you complete your quest.
[FRAME 4]
Captain: Come on, we'll go out the side gate. It's unguarded.
Ranger: It's what? That doesn't strike you as weird? As the person who commands the guards, I mean.
