Avtar: It is a principle! I provide a place for people to shop. If no one is shopping, I will wait, and when they come, I will be ready.

Terry: Will you talk to us if we buy something?
Avtar: If that is what it takes for you to buy, then we may talk.

Cheryl: Good thinking, Terry. What's your cheapest item?
Avtar: I have a dagger that can be yours for only 5 GP.
Cheryl: FIVE! You don't have, I dunno, a candle or something?

Avtar: Out! Out! Out! You will steal no more time from me today!
Cheryl: I wouldn't shop here even if I had money! You just lost a future customer!
